Julian is a qualified solicitor having qualified in 1997.
After spells at Wright Hassall LLP, Hammonds and Shakespeare Putsman LLP in Birmingham, Julian set up his own practice 'Watson Insolvency LLP' in March 2008. Throughout his career Julian has always specialised in contentious and non contentious insolvency as well as commercial litigation.
Watson Insolvency proved to be a great success undertaking work for a wide range of Insolvency Practitioners and resulting in involvement with some high profile insolvency cases, including, in 2010, the administration of Carpets of Kidderminster Ltd.
KW Law LLP is the result of the combined vision of Julian and Robin to provide a personable, commercial, cost effective and time efficient service to clients. They are motivated by the enjoyment they have in assisting clients to secure the results and resolutions that clients seek. Our client's are important to us and we aim to provide the services needed to achieve our client's objectives.
Robin Koolhoven qualified as a solicitor in 1992 and has previously been a partner and head of insolvency at Wright Hassall LLP in Leamington Spa and Shakespeare Putsman LLP in Birmingham.
Robin specialises in all types of insolvency, including cross border insolvency. Robin acts for a wide range of Insolvency Practitioners across the Midlands as well as further afield.
Notable cases included the administrative receivership of Luton Town Football Club and the reported case of Re J Smiths. Also, in December of 2010, the administration of Armoury Demolition and Recycling Ltd in Birmingham.
Robin has previously been listed as a leading individual specialising in insolvency in the Legal 500 and Chambers Directories.
